La Gloutonnerie

I had dinner at La Gloutonnerie last night. The newly renovated space in SoBe's trendy South of Fifth area was decorated nicely - making for a classy yet hip atmosphere. Despite this, it was almost completely empty with only a few patrons in the entire restaurant.

The two sided menu boasts French favorites like Chateaubriand for two and my favorite - Beef Bourguignon as well as a variety of appetizers and strangely enough, pasta. The portions are large and the food was good. Not great, but good. My favorite was the fois gras and cheese bread that comes out before the food arrives.
